Now, what do you think Nocturne's band sounds like? I asume she sings, because she is probably not going to play guitar much with them hands.
I think something loud and outrageous like Whale of Hole. Any thoughts?

Well, erm you know. Progressive guitar punkrock type music? Loudmouth female singer? That sort of stuff?.
T.J. Probably makes a helluva drummer. I bet she can drum with her feet. Or with her tail, if she turns out to have one after all.

Well, no. I don't know. I've led a sheltered life. The only music around here is the radio (all country) or Muchmusic. I'm sure I could find these bands at a store but I'm not going to buy a CD and have no idea what I'm getting. It doesn't sound like it would appeal to me, anyway. I don't like the way most female singers sound. They're either too sweet or too... crass.

These will probably be to crass
You only have country radio where you are? Must be terrible! Not that I know much country: that is one style of music that just isn't played in Europe. (my knowledge of country does not get beyond Dolly Parton)

It is terrible. And all the stores play it... I wanna move to Europe! While I'm off-topic, who here thinks Cambridge is the best university in the world? I'm currently in an argument against this statement even though for all I know, it could be true. (I'll argue over anything.)

Actually, I was thinking she could be the drummer. Or cowbell.
But yeah, L7, Breeders, Garbage...something along those lines.

Oh yeah, L7! And Breeders, great. Yup, something in that style, you catch my drift perfectly.
Damn this will be a very short topic with people agreeing like this.

I can assure you though, that Europe has some suitably annoying substitutes for country. Like Schlagers or nederpop or chansons.
I don't know if Cambridge is the best (the English one, I assume?) but it's certainly the cutest. Beautiful place. Ever been there?

I would gladly deal with your "nederpop" if I had the option of changing stations. Here, it's country or nothing.
I've never been outside of Canada.
